A woman was arrested for strangulating the 10-year-old son of her neighbour and hiding the body in a box.

The police have recovered the dead body of the boy who had been earlier reported missing a day ago from Shahdara, a suburb of Lahore. The police arrested the woman named Zainab and took the dead body of the boy into custody.

According to the police, Tanzeel went to her house in the neighbourhood where she killed the boy by strangulating him with a piece of cloth. After the heinous act, the woman hid the body into a box.

The police are trying to ascertain the woman’s motive for killing the boy.
