Provincial Law Minister Raja Basharat in a special message on Surprise Day said the astonishing performance of the Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan Army against the enemy country two years ago made Pakistan famous all over the world.
After that, the way Prime Minister Imran Khan handed over the imprisoned pilot Nandan to the enemy country after offering tea, he enhanced the national pride and dignity. Raja Basharat further said that that incident not only gave us a moral victory over India but also made the world believe that Pakistan had the best arms forces in the world from which even a three times bigger enemy was afraid.
"We are proud of our Pakistani forces, which on the one hand protected the country's borders from enemy's aggression and on the other hand defeated the biggest war on terror by sacrificing thousands of our soldiers," he said.
Raja Basharat said that in the last two years, Modi had been so humiliated by that incident that he had not dared to look up to us and was still busy excusing before his people. The minister strongly condemned the Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir and expressed his determination that the Kashmiri brothers would surely reap the fruits of their long struggle and would succeed in winning independence from the Indian occupation.
Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid also paid rich tribute to Pakistan Air Force on completion of two years of downing two Indian fighter jets.
In her message, the Health Minister said, “On 27th February 2019, Pakistan Air Force made history by taking down two Indian planes. Our brave pilots have always taught a good lesson to the enemy. Our heroes laid to rest the enemy’s best-laid plans. Our heroes will defend the line of control in the same manner. This was the defeat to the enemy’s nefarious designs. We hope they will never think of crossing the border like that again. Our soldiers believe in fighting openly and bravely, unlike the enemy who attacks in the darkness of the night. Pakistan Army will be taken down every enemy who dares to attack us.”
Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan has said that February 27 is a day to remember the bravery and courage of our Army when two years ago our "Jawans" set a new example of defending the motherland and the numerical majority could do nothing in front of Pak Air Force.
In his tweet, Abdul Aleem Khan said that two years after the downing of the Indian plane, today the whole nation salutes its soldiers and commends the determination of the Army which has full capability to defeat the enemy. He said that Pakistan will defend its motherland in the same way when even the time comes.
