A single-day session of Punjab Assembly will be held on Wednesday (today) with Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan in the chair, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The session of Punjab Assembly, which will start at 11am, is called to give its nod to the supplementary grants for the next four months.

Meanwhile the Opposition is expected to stage a protest demonstration against the alleged rigging in the general elections.

unjab Governor Balighur Rehman has summoned the session which will be prorogued after approval of supplementary grants.

Reports say all expenditures incurred by the caretakers during the current fiscal year needed assembly’s validation.
