Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar continued his efforts to woo the opposition lawmakers ahead of the Senate elections, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The chief minister on Thursday met with two MPAs – one each from the PML-N and the PPP.

Buzdar first met PPP MPA from PP-265, Raees Nabeel Ahmad. PTI leader Awn Chaudhry was also present in the meeting.

Nabeel, on this occasion, expressed trust in the leadership of Usman Buzdar and briefed him about the problems his constituency was facing. The chief minister said the far-flung areas have the first right on the development projects as these areas were deliberately ignored by the previous government.

Buzdar said “My doors are open to all and I want to solve everyone’s problems. Enemies of the development cannot mislead the nation by their negative propaganda.”

Nabeel said he was very much impressed by the chief minister’s hospitality and described the meeting as pleasant.

Later, Usman Buzdar had a meeting with another PML-N lawmaker – Kashif Mahmood.

MPA Kashif was the third Nawaz League MPA to meet with the Punjab chief minister in as many days.

Kashif Mahmood enquired about the chief minister’s health and also reposed confidence in his leadership.

On this occasion, Sardar Buzdar said now there will be politics of progress and the anarchy in the country. “We will continue to serve the masses with good intentions and our door are open for everyone,” he added.

Buzdar said “Development package for every city is ready and Bahawalpur will also get one. I will visit the city soon.”

Kashmir Mahmood said he was delighted to meet with the chief minister as he was very much impressed by his personality.

On Wednesday, PML-N MPA Muhammad Arshad met with Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and reposed trust in him. Buzdar, on the occasion, issued instructions for solving problems of MPA’s constituency.

The Punjab chief minister said that members of the Punjab Assembly were his strength and he would give respect to them. “I consider the problems people’s representatives are facing in their constituencies like my own, and I will always be available whenever you want to meet me,” he assured the PML-N MPA.

Buzdar claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) had emerged as the most popular party of the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The PML-N MPA from Fort Abbas also discussed the prevailing political situation and other matters. Chaudhry Muhammad Arshad said Chief Minister Buzdar has given him so much respect which he was not expecting.

It is to be mentioned here that Chaudhry Muhammad Arshad had won a seat from PP-244 (Bahawalnagar-VIII) constituency on the ticket of PML-N in 2018 general elections.

Earlier on Tuesday, PML-N MPA Nishat Ahmad Daha had called on Usman Buzdar and apprised him about the constituency problems and the progress made on various development schemes in his constituency.
