Pakistan, Bangladesh express solidarity with Palestinian people

Pakistan and Bangladesh have expressed unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people and their just cause.

This came during meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Adviser for Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, Md. Touhid Hossain on the sidelines of the International conference on the Two-State Solution at the UN headquarters, New York.

Expressing deep concern over the grave humanitarian crisis in Gaza and ongoing Israeli aggression, they hoped for meaningful outcomes of the conference.

On the bilateral note, the two sides reaffirmed the commitment to deepen their political, economic and cultural cooperation, and boost connectivity and people-to-people exchanges.

They reviewed bilateral ties and agreed to undertake high-level visits in the near future.
