Hyderabad Police had allegedly facilitated a prisoner to escape from the ‘prison walls’ in a very innovative way. As per the plan, the police personnel helped the prisoner escape from the hospital’s jail ward.

A CCTV footage of the escape is available with the 24NewsHD TV channel.

In the video, it can be seen that the police personnel was walking out of the jail ward of the hospital along with the inmate who had no handcuffs on him.

The prisoner was behind the bars in a fraud case and was shifted to the hospital for ill-health. 

Market Police of Hyderabad city lodged an FIR against five police personnel including an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) in this regard.
