Over 107,000 complete Hajj registration online

More than 107,000 people have completed Hajj registration online under the Ministry of Religious Affairs, according to official figures.

The data shows that 107,587 applicants have registered from home through the online system. Of them, 85,000 have opted for the government Hajj scheme, while 22,000 have chosen the private Hajj scheme.

Officials said the online registration process would continue uninterrupted for the next few days.

Punjab recorded the highest number of registrations with 51,000 applicants, followed by Sindh with 33,000 and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 15,000. Islamabad reported about 5,500 registrations.

Around 2,000 people registered from Balochistan, 600 from Azad Kashmir and two from Gilgit-Baltistan.

The applicants include 63,000 men and 44,000 women.

According to the figures, 56,000 applicants have selected the long Hajj package, while 51,000 have chosen the short Hajj package.
