Pakistani singers have always managed to make the nation exceptionally proud with their stellar performances and mesmerizing vocals.

Legendary Pakistani Ghazal singer, Tina Sani, has been chosen as the ambassador of the month for Spotify Equal Pakistan.

This is a moment of extreme pride for all of her fans and supporters worldwide.

As it was the first anniversary of Spotify’s Equal Pakistan playlist, the milestone was celebrated by giving due acknowledgment to rising female musicians.

Tina Sani has successfully secured the privilege of being featured on the digital billboard at Times Square, New York.

Tina’s black and white portrait with the green Spotify poster, at the top of the tower, has made Pakistan beam with pride.

Discussing her inspirational achievements, Tina Sani said: “It gives me immense pleasure to be the Spotify Equal Ambassador for Pakistan.” 

She further said: “Female musicians have been breaking barriers in the Pakistani music scene for decades and it’s about time they get the due recognition. Their investment in the music scene is deeply rooted and I am so happy to see it showcased to worldwide audiences through this brilliant initiative.”

According to sources revealed by Spotify on EQUAL Pakistan’s one-year anniversary, within the first year of joining the program, EQUAL artists have received more than 2.2 million hours of editorial streams. 

On average, women artists featured by EQUAL have witnessed a 330% increase in streams over the past year.
