One person was killed while 15, including four members of the same family, were injured as five vehicles collided with each other near a resting area on motorway at Hafizabad early Sunday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to reports, the incident took place because of smog. 

The injured were taken to a hospital where doctors said the condition of three of them was critical.  

One killed, five injured in accident near Mankeera:

In yet another accident, one person was killed while five others were injured as speeding vehicles, carrying a marriage party, crashed into each other on Bhakar-Jhang road near Mankeera. 

The injured were initially taken to tehsil headquarter hospital. Later those requiring further treatment were shifted to district headquarter hospital in Bhakkar.

The deceased as well as the injured all belonged to Darya Khan tehsil of district Bhakkar.

One killed, three injured in car accident in Lahore:

One person was killed while three were seriously wounded when a speeding car skidded off the road and hit the pedestrians walking on a footpath in Defence Housing Authority (DHA), Lahore. 

The injured, who were identified as 20-year-old Ibrahim, 24-year-old Qamar and 22-year-old Zohaib, were shifted to General Hospital while the police shifted the body of 19-year-old Muhsin Rasheed, the deceased, who hailed from Kasur, to a morgue.
