Three flights cancelled, 4 delayed at Lahore Airport

Another three flights were cancelled and four others delayed at the Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport on Sunday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The flights which were cancelled included: Serene Airline’s flight from Lahore to Ras Al Khaima 5725, AirBlue’s flight from Lahore to Karachi 407 and AirBlue’s flight from Karachi to Lahore 408.
The flights which were delayed included: AirBlue’s flight from Karachi to Lahore 406 is delayed by two hours, Serene Airline flight from Karachi to Lahore 522 is facing a delay of three hours, PIA’s flight from Karachi to Lahore 302 is facing a delay of two hours and PIA’s flight from Lahore to Karachi is facing a delay of one hour and 30 minutes.
Smog disrupts flights
Thick smog on Sunday morning reduced visibility at Lahore Airport’s runway.
According to sources, the airport administration has alerted all the pilots that the visibility on the runway has come down to just 1,000 metres.

Sources informed the TV channel that all the pilots have been directed to contact the Air Traffic Controller landing or taking off from the airport.
