A whirler was shot dead by a security guard at Jhelum Chakoha petrol pump, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

According to police, accused Koka Khan opened fire on the darvesh over suspicion. The deceased was a ‘malang’ who often wandered in the area.

The identity of the deceased was yet to be ascertained as search for the relatives of the deceased was underway.

The accused was arrested and a case was also registered against him by the police.

The body of the deceased was shifted to a mortuary.
