PAA finalizes location of air traffic control at Karachi Airport
In a major achievement, Pakistan Aviation Authority (PAA) finalized the location for the construction of the latest air traffic control (ATC) tower and fire station, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
M/s. M.M. Pakistan and a company of Spain, Camosa and Fair Banks Architects, will construct these towers in two years. The design was completed within six months.
New monitoring system to be installed at AIIA
After the visit of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, a monitoring system will be installed at the immigration counters of Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA), Lahore to reduce delays and streamline the immigration process
Time of passengers' immigration, flight clearance, and check-in and balance will be monitored.
The system will provide complete data of all incoming and outgoing passengers and a definite time for clearance of every flight passenger.
Other problems, including the offloading of unnecessary passengers and slow immigration, will be addressed.
