Robbers shoot dead man in front of father

A man was shot dead in front of his father’s eyes near Northern Bypass in Karachi while resisting a robbery bid, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
According to police, the body of the deceased was shifted to Abbasi Hospital.
“Musa Khan was 35-year-old. He had brought his father from interior Sindh to Karachi for treatment,” the family of the deceased said.
“When they deboarded the bus on Northern Bypass, Musa Khan made a call to his cousin and asked him to pick them up,” they added.
“In the meantime, two robbers came on a motorcycle and shot Musa Khan in the chest while snatching a mobile phone from him,” they stated.
“The accused also fired shots at the father when he moved forward to save his son. However, he remained safe,” they maintained.
“The accused escaped easily after shooting Musa Khan dead,” they lamented.
It is to be noted here that as many as 90 people have died so far for resisting robbery attempts during the ongoing year.
