CAA decides to collect embarkation charges from airlines staff

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has decided to collect embarkation charges from the staff of all domestic and foreign airlines, reported 24News HD TV channel on Monday.
As per details, all airlines’ staff will now have to pay embarkation charges. According to the CAA, domestic flights will have to pay an embarkation fee of Rs 500 per ticket. Embarkation charges on international flights will be charged at Rs4,500 per ticket.
The CAA has issued a formal notification regarding embarkation charges. Sources said that the decision was made on the advice of the board. The CAA officials issued letters to all airlines.
