A video from the Hum Awards is making the rounds online. It features Ahmad Ali Butt making fun of Ahmed Ali Akbar's appearance in his popular television series Parizaad and making color commentary. Ahmed Ali Akbar rushed forward and slapped Butt that shocked everyone.

Viewers compared it to the Will Smith and Chris Rock slap incident from the Oscars earlier this year, but many are still unsure of whether it was a real outburst or a staged one.

The Hum Awards for this year were held over the weekend in Toronto, Canada, on a night filled with glitz and glamour, spectacular performances, and the awards presentation itself. However, it was just this one 'event' that hazed the audience.

Butt, the host of the programme, continued to crack jokes here and there, but it seemed that his jab about Akbar's tan-skinned persona in Parizaad had backfired.

The two actors seem to have responded similarly to how Will Smith and Chris Rock did at the Oscars when Rock made an ill-advised joke about Smith's wife's baldness.

The Parizaad star uttered, “Keep my name out of your mouth” after the slap.
