Bloomberg lays bare RAW’s role in killings of Sikh separatists
The criminal gangs of the Indian intelligence agency, RAW, have been exposed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Bloomberg, an international journal, has removed the lid from the activities of these networks, which are involved in the elimination of Sikh separatists living abroad under the direct patronage of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP government.
According to the journal, the prosecution has submitted documents in the Federal Court of New York, which prove that a RAW official was involved in planning the murder of Sikh leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.
Last year, the US Justice Department had named the RAW official as Nikhil Gupta, who had made an attempt on the life of Pannun on the instructions of Vikash Jhadev, a RAW official.
Bloomberg has informed that Gupta had been arrested in the Czech Republic in June 2023 and was handed over to the authorities in the USA.
The prosecution, the journal has said, has also linked both these persons with the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who was killed in Canada.
Both Nijjar and Pannun were fighting India together for a separate homeland, Khalistan.
They were also fierce opponents of Indian PM Modi.
Quoting the prosecutors, Bloomberg has said that Gupta had also tried to eliminate Sikh separatists in Nepal and Pakistan.
On the other hand, The Wire, an Indian website, has written that in June 2023, Jhadev, in his WhatsApp chat, had promised the supply of assault rifles and 22 pistols.
