Pakistan showcases tourism future at Int'l Investment Conference 2025
The 3rd Pakistan International Tourism Investment Conference 2025 was held at Best Western Premier Hotel, Islamabad, marking World Tourism Day under the theme “Tourism and Sustainable Transformation.”
The inaugural session was graced by Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, National Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Tourism, who attended as Chief Guest.
He reaffirmed the government’s strong commitment to positioning Pakistan as a leading global tourism destination while ensuring long-term sustainability, cultural preservation, and inclusive economic growth.
The prestigious event was organised by Brain Design under the leadership of CEO Muhammad Rauf Raja, in collaboration with PTDC.
The conference gathered leading policymakers, diplomats, business leaders, and stakeholders from the tourism and hospitality sectors to explore opportunities for sustainable growth and investment.
The conference also featured a high-level panel discussion on “The Role of Technology in Environmental Sustainability”, moderated by Ms Kiran Afzal, Senior Private Sector Specialist at the World Bank Group.
Panellists included Khalid Yaqub Malik (GM Special Projects, FWO), Raja Nazim Ul Amin (Ex-Chairman BOI-GB), Syed Sadat (CEO Lakeshore Resorts), and Capt. Zaheer ul Islam Lughmani (NLC Aviation).
