Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday held an important meeting with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and discussed a raft of issues with him with particular focus on regional tensions, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

During the meeting held in Islamabad, both the leaders exchanged views in detail on Pakistan-India tensions and Palestine issue.

On this occasion, Mohsin Naqvi apprised Maulana Fazl of India’s one-sided and illogical stance and took him into confidence on Pakistan’s firm and principled stand.

Mohsin Naqvi also informed Maulana Fazlur Rehman about various decisions taken by National Security Committee (NSC) in its recently-held meeting.

The minister said that Narendra Modi is notorious for his anti-Muslim and anti-Islam policies, and he prefers to stand with all those who are against Islam and Muslims. “India is playing with fire,” the minister added.

Mohsin Naqvi said that in case of any aggression and misadventure by India Pakistan will retaliate with full force.

Mohsin Naqvi also inquired about the well-being of Maulana Fazlur Rehman and extended his warm wishes for his sound health.
