Ministry of Religious Affairs forms Pakistan Hindu Temple Management Committee

Ministry of Religious Affairs has constituted a Pakistan Hindu Temple Management Committee, reported 24News HD TV Channel on Wednesday.

Federal Minister Pir Noor ul Haq Qadri chaired the first meeting of the committee and expressed hope that IT will act as a bridge between the non-Muslim population and the state.

According to the channel report, the Pakistan Hindu Temple Management Committee will look after matters related to Hindu places of worship.

Krishna Sharma, Dewan Chand Chawla, Haroon Sarab Dayal, Mohan Das, Naranjan Kumar, Megha Arora, Amit Shadani, Ashok Kumar, Wersi Mal Dewani, Amar Nath Randhawa are also among the members.

The federal minister has said that the problems of the non-Muslim population of Pakistan are being solved on a priority basis. The formation of the committee will be helpful in resolving the issues of the Pakistani Hindu community, he added.
