Fog leads to partial suspension of flight operation at Sialkot Airport

Dense fog in and around Sialkot International Airport partially disrupted the flight operation on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The airport’s spokesman said that at least 500 meters of visibility was required at international airports for the smooth landing and takeoff of planes. “However, presently the visibility is only 100 meters,” he said, and added that as soon as fog would reduce, the flight operation would be restored.

He informed that the airport’s management was in touch with all airlines.

The spokesman requested passengers to seek information about their flights from the airlines.
