3 Punjab University students expelled, 8 fined for protesting against teachers

The Punjab University administration has taken administrative action against 11 students of the sociology department for protesting against teachers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Three students have been expelled from the university and eight students have been fined.

Students have been given punishments for protesting against teachers and running social media campaigns.

According to university administration, action has been taken against students for violating discipline. 

BS Sociology students Muhammad Akash Shakeel, Raja Wahab Naseem and Ali Sher have been expelled from the university.

BS Sociology students Malaika Kamran, Ali Shah Azam, Aisha Shahzad, Ali Haider, Ali Ahmed, Ali Zaid, Aisha Fatima and Irwaq Mahmood were fined and warned.

Students given right to appeal against punishments before Vice Chancellor within 15 days.
