Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon Friday demanded that the name of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan be placed on the Exit Control List (ECL), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

He said that the federal government could arrest Imran Khan if it wanted. “A Joint Investigation Team (JIT) should be formed to investigate Imran Khan’s money laundering and foreign funding to his party,” he demanded.

“The decision of foreign funding case should be announced immediately. First, the decision of the old case should be pronounced, then other cases should be listened to,” he demanded further.

“Imran Khan is an imposter; the mask on his face should be removed,” he said.

“The JIT should investigate cases against Imran Khan on a daily basis. His name should be placed on the ECL,” he added.

“It is injustice. There are separate laws for different political parties. Favouritism should end in this country,” he stated.

“People should know what they have done to the country. Imran Khan used foreign funding for personal use. A JIT should be formed against Imran Khan so that everything should be cleared,” he emphasised.

He also alleged that Imran Khan gave himself NRO in flour and sugar scandals, adding: “All things related to foreign funding to the PTI should be laid bare.”

He also claimed that the funeral of the PTI’s politics had been offered in the country, questioning: “Will there be politics in Pakistan with the money of Israel and India?”

He said that the PTI did not respond after the report of Financial Times, adding that the PTI did politics by taking money from the enemy of the country.
