Ali Raza denies involvement in Mohammad Ahmed misbehavior allegations
Pakistani actor Ali Raza has broken his silence after social media users linked him to veteran actor Mohammad Ahmed's latest revelations about being mistreated by a younger co-star, firmly denying any involvement and expressing his admiration for the industry veteran.
The clarification came after an Instagram user directly asked Ali Raza whether he was the actor accused of disrespecting Mohammad Ahmed on a production set.
Responding to the speculation, Ali swiftly shut down the rumours, writing:
"Huge fan of Mohammed Ahmed sir. And never had the chance to work with. How can I? And why would I?"
His response quickly gained attention online, with many users appreciating the actor for addressing the rumours directly.
The speculation surfaced after Mohammad Ahmed, during an appearance on Sheeba Khan's Dareecha podcast, recalled an unpleasant experience involving a younger male lead actor.
Without revealing the individual's identity, the veteran actor alleged that the junior star publicly mocked his age and appearance during a shoot. According to Mohammad Ahmed, the actor even held a handheld fan over his head, pretending it was a hair dryer, to make fun of his hairstyle in front of the crew.
Although Mohammad Ahmed deliberately chose not to disclose the actor's name, the incident sparked widespread debate across social media, with fans attempting to identify the individual involved.
Several senior actors, including Syed Jibran and Faysal Quraishi, publicly condemned the alleged behaviour, stressing that veteran artists deserve respect and urging the unnamed actor to apologize if the incident occurred as described.
Following the online speculation, Ali Raza's clarification appears to distance him from the controversy, emphasizing that he has never shared a project with Mohammad Ahmed and holds the veteran performer in high regard. Mohammad Ahmed has not publicly identified the actor involved, and no evidence has been presented linking Ali Raza to the incident.
