Dr Ijaz roasts Mathira and Sahiba's viral Karachi fashion show stumbles
Pakistani social media personality Dr Ijaz has sparked debate after criticising Mathira's and Sahiba's viral runway appearances at a Karachi fashion show, questioning whether celebrities should step onto the runway without proper experience.
Taking to Instagram, Dr Ijaz shared a video reacting to several celebrities who recently appeared at a fashion show in Karachi. Alongside the post, he wrote, "If you can't walk the runway, why step on it in the first place," making his views on the viral moments clear.
In the video, Dr Ijaz questioned the standard of the fashion event, saying he was surprised to see so many participants struggling on the runway. Referring to the clips as "oops moments", he claimed that several celebrities appeared uncomfortable while walking and suggested that many lacked proper runway experience.
The first clip featured Mathira, who appeared to briefly lose her balance while turning during her walk. Reacting to the moment, Dr Ijaz suggested it reflected a lack of confidence on the runway.
He then commented on actress Maria Gul, claiming she also appeared uncomfortable while walking and seemed to be briefly supported by a male model after appearing to lose her balance.
Dr Ijaz also reacted to veteran actress Sahiba's runway appearance, saying she looked uneasy while walking and appeared to struggle with managing her outfit. He claimed she almost lost her balance near the end of the walk and described the overall appearance as awkward.
Sharing his overall opinion, Dr Ijaz argued that runway walking requires proper training and suggested that celebrities should avoid participating in fashion shows if they are not prepared for the demands of the runway.
He also described some of the walks as immature and questioned why individuals without runway experience chose to take part.
The runway moments have continued to generate discussion across social media, with users sharing mixed reactions.
