The Shanghai Electric, a Chinese multinational power generation and electrical equipment manufacturing company, has once again offered to purchase 66 per cent shares of the K-Electric, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

According to the manager of the company, the offer by the Shanghai Electric for purchasing 66 per cent shares of the K-Electric is valid till September 27, 2022.

Earlier, in July 2020, the Shanghai Electric had offered to acquire 18,335,542,678 ordinary shares of the K-Electric, which was equivalent to 66.4 percent of the K-Electric’s total issued share capital.
