Every citizen’s mobile phone camera to be Safe City camera

Punjab Safe City Authority (PSCA) has introduced a new feature under which every citizen's mobile phone camera will now be able to become a Safe City camera, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

According to Safe City spokesperson, the step has been taken under the Safe Punjab vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab for the safety of citizens.

Now citizens will be able to share video evidence of serious incidents with Safe City immediately.

A new innovative "Connect to PSCA" feature has been added to Safe City's public safety app.

The "Connect to PSCA" feature will allow the mobile camera to be directly connected to Safe City.

The Safe City Officer will immediately send a live feed link to the citizen on the emergency helpline 15 call.

As soon as the link is opened, the mobile's live camera will be connected to the Safe City control room.

With the help of the citizen's mobile camera, immediate assistance will be provided by seeing the actual situation at the scene of the incident.

This service is for use only in emergency situations and so keep the location of the citizen's mobile on but do not share unnecessary videos.
