October 30, 2022 08:40 AM

The federal government has decided to approach the apex court’ once again to stop the PTI’s long march after the alleged audio leak of Ali Amin Gandapur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Saturday.

The federal government will file a writ in the Supreme Court on the Long March issue, sources said. PTI's long march and its alleged conspiracy will be made part of the petition.

The evidence regarding Long March will be presented in the Supreme Court, the sources added.

Last week, the Supreme Court showed restraint from granting the federal government’s request to prevent Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan from holding the party's upcoming long march. The court observed that everyone has the right to protest peacefully, but not be violent or damage public property.
