Pakistan’s mobile phones import up 103pc in 1Q 2025 

Pakistan imports $500 million worth of mobile phones in last 3 months as mobile phone imports increased by 103% in first quarter of current fiscal year, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel. 

According to documents, mobile phone imports grew by 94.48% year-on-year in September 2025 while imports grew by 28.58% month-on-month in September 2025. 

Imports of mobile phones in July-September 2025 were $500 million. The last year imports of mobile phones in the same period were $246.2 million. Pakistan imported mobile phones worth $199.5 million in September 2025 and the volume of mobile phone imports in September 2024 was $102.6 million, documents showed. 

Imports of mobile phones in August 2025 were $155.2 million while in July 2025, the volume of imports of mobile phones was $145.3 million.
