Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari claimed on Wednesday that no one could find a fault with the development projects initiated by the provincial Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Responding to the statement given by Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, who was an advisor to ex-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur, she said that out of 80 projects CM Maryam launched in just one year, over 50 had been completed.

She said that there was transparency in each and every project of Punjab, and merit was adhered to. “On the other hand, MPAs in KP pay Rs700 million to Rs1 billion to become ministers,” she alleged.

“Rs40 billion Kohistan corruption scandal is a proof of widespread corruption in the province,” Azma added.

The point to be noted, she went on to say, was that how those who became ministers by paying hefty amounts could be honest and morally on high grounds.

The minister also slammed the PTI government in KP for claiming that the Nawaz Sharif Health Card project was its initiative. “How on earth could those who copy our projects taunt us for doing the same?” she questioned.
