Four PML-N MPAs hold talks with Punjab CM Buzdar
Four Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) sitting MPAs called on Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar in Lahore on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The PML-N lawmakers included Jalil Ahmed Sharaqpuri, Muhammad Faisal Niazi, Ashraf Ansari and Maulana Ghias-ud-Din.
The elected representatives apprised Chief Minister Usman Buzdar of the problems in their constituencies and areas. The CM assured the PML-N members that the issues will be resolved on priority basis.
The MPAs assured Buzdar of their full-fledged support, saying they are with him. They also reposed trust in the policies of the Punjab government.
“My doors are open to everyone and all legitimate issues of MPAs will be resolved immediately,” Usman Buzdar said on the occasion. He said provincial legislators are like my hands and arms and he has great respect for them.
Buzdar said rulers of the past limited all powers to them and worked like one-man show. He vowed to continue serving people without noticing the criticism of the ‘corrupt’ elements on him as per the mission and vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Earlier on Monday, PML-N MPA Jaleel Ahmed Sharaqpuri met the PTI leadership in Lahore after his party suspended his membership for criticising PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif’s speech in the multi party conference.
Sharaqpuri met PTI Punjab President Ijaz Chaudhry at PTI central secretariat. PTI Punjab Secretary General Ali Imtiaz Warraich and other leaders were also present during the meeting.
PTI President Ijaz Chaudhary appreciated Sharaqpuri’s stance on Nawaz's speech.
