Mawra Hocane has expressed her gratitude to family, friends and fans for showing a lot of love and warm wishes on her 29th birthday.

She expressed special thanks to her younger brother Ins e Yazdan, Aaima Mushtaq Ameer Gilani, Sheharbano Shirazi and Ramsha Hayat.

Ameer Gilani too shared a shot with the birthday gal on Instagram, captioning: "May you have many more happy and healthy ones InshaAllah. Stay the same."

Her fellow stars wished in the comment box of the post she shared at the start of September 28 – her birthday.

“Happy birthday beautiful,” Actor Ayeza Khan writes and stylist Tabesh Khoja writes, “Happy birthday, you doll.”

Greeting her on the day, Mawra's mother shared one of her childhood photos with the caption: “May you forever sparkle and shine like the star that you are. Happy birthday my little princess!”

The University of London graduate started showing her artistic skills from the field of theatre before working as a VJ.

She performed in Pakistani television serials including Aahista Aahista, Ik Tamanna Lahasil Si and Nikhar Gaye Gulab Sare. 

She made her debut in the Pakistani film industry with Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 while she modelled in Pantene Hum Bridal couture week and showcased golden bridal couture for designer Nilofer Shahid.

She was the show stopper for designer HSY creation. She also worked in telefilms Ghar Aae Mehman and Papa Razi. A couple of years ago, she launched her clothing line in collaboration with her sister Urwa Hocane.
