The Federal Investigation Agency, in its ongoing crackdown on illegal money changers and those associated with the business of Hawala and Hundi, on Thursday arrested two persons in Chauburji, Lahore besides recovering a huge amount of cash from them, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.  

A team of FIA Lahore’s Corporate Crime Circle arrested Altaf and Umar besides recovering over Rs10 million, 10, 000 Saudi Riyal and receipts of Hundi and Hawala from them.     

The FIA officials told media that a case had been registered against them under the Foreign Exchange Regulation Act while further investigation was underway.
