After her acquittal in the Avenfield Reference by the Islamabad High Court (IHC), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz Thursday called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Prime Minister’s House, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The prime minister congratulated Maryam Nawaz over her acquittal in the case. Both, the uncle and the niece, hugged each other and exchanged kind words of joy and gratitude.

Earlier, the prime minister tweeted: “The edifice of lies, slander and character assassination has come crumbling down today. Maryam Nawaz’s acquittal in the Avenfield Reference is a slap in the face of the so-called accountability system that was employed to target the Sharif family.
