Two more die of coronavirus in Karachi, death toll reaches 37

Two more persons died of coronavirus in Karachi on Friday after which death toll due to the deadly pandemic reached 13 in Pakistan.

Confirming the news, Sindh Health Minister Azra Fazal Pechuho said they were tested positive on April 1. Both of them contracted the virus through community transmission, she added.

One of the latest coronavirus victims was a 60-year-old. He was suffering from cardiac problems and had been placed on a ventilator. The second one was 82-years-old had renal issues.

The number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan have now jumped to 2,458 with 37 deaths so far.

Punjab tops the list with 928 cases followed by Sindh 783, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 311, Balochistan 169, Gilgit-Baltistan 190, Islamabad 68 and AJK nine.
