China has always helped Pakistan in the hour of need: Ch Sarwar

Governor Chaudhry Sarwar has said China’s vaccine gift proved it has always helped Pakistan in its hour of need and Beijing’s support to stem the spread of Covid-19 is unprecedented.

Speaking at the launch of a book on telemedicine at the King Edward Medical University (KEMU), he said vaccination of every Pakistani is the top priority of the government.

Sarwar said telemedicine helpline initiative has been a great success during the coronavirus pandemic and KEMU’s Telemedicine Centre is the best.

He listed his government’s feats citing health card and Ehsas Programme, saying that the government distributed more than 180 billion rupees to deserving families.

Lauding the role of doctors and paramedics, the governor said the whole nation salutes those doctors, nurses and paramedics who have fought on the frontline in the war on the virus and the services of these doctors and medical staff will always be remembered.
