Speaking on the occasion, Federal Minister for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed said he would never become part of a compromise on a matter of national interest.

He called opposition members looters and land grabbers. “They used their party accounts for money laundering,” he alleged.

Murad said he knew how Senate seats were won. “We want the practice of buying votes to be stopped. We want elections through the open ballot. The politics of Changa Manga has got to come to an end,” he said emphatically.

The minister asked the opposition members as to where were their much talked-about resignations? “You people have no shame,” he said while addressing them.

PTI leader alleged that lawmakers from the opposition came to the parliament just to enact such laws which could protect their ill-gotten wealth.

Referring to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, he said he had gone to the UK for treatment, but instead of seeing doctors there he was spitting venom at Pakistan.

Murad hit out at the former PML-N government for cultivating a relationship with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and business tycoon Sajan Jindal.

He asked the Pakistan Democratic Movement leaders as to why the demand for ‘free Balochistan’ was raised from their platform.
