Gladiators elect to bowl first against United

Quetta Gladiators (QG) Thursday won the toss and opted to bowl first against Islamabad United (ISU) ahead of the 10th match in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Karachi’s National Stadium.

Islamabad United have so far played two matches, out of which they have managed to win one and lost in another. In the last match, ISU faced defeat against invincible Multan Sultans. But, full credit to the United captain Shadab Khan for putting up a brilliant show with the bat by smashing 91 in which he clobbered nine 6s and five 4s.

On the other hand, talking on the Gladiators, so it’s been a struggling start for the side. Having won a single game, out of the three matches. Through, the boys of Quetta will be looking for a win over United.

Talking about the timeline of both the teams, so Gladiators slightly have an edge over United by winning seven times against the two-time champions. While, the United have won six teams out of 13 matches played between the two teams.

Yesterday (Wednesday) Lahore Qalandars got the better of Peshawar Zalmi by clinching victory with 29 runs margin. For Qalandars, Fakhar Zaman and Abdullah Shafique hit 66 (38) and 41 (31), respectively. Hafeez, on the other hand, also played a pivotal role to contribute unbeaten 37 off 19 balls, in which the professor clobbered one six and three fours.
