Faiz Mohammad Dayo, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Qasimabad Thursday died from gunshots after his own gunman opened fire on him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

DSP was killed at Pakora stop near Qasimabad in Hyderabad.

The DSP was shifted to the hospital in critical condition but could not survive.

As per the police officials, the gunman Abid Chandio has been arrested and the police have further launched an investigation into the matter.
