A Dolphin Force officer Abdul Waheed was seriously injured when a suspicious car did not stop at the picket and hit him on Jhang Road in Faisalabad on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.  

Abdul Waheed signalled the car to stop but the suspicious vehicle hit the officer and seriously wounded him. The driver fled away from the scene.

Police have started further investigations and set up roadblocks in search of the car, the TV channel reported.

Rescue 1122 shifted the Dolphin officer to the hospital for medical treatment.
