A tragic accident has taken place in Fateh Jang Tehsil of Attock where six members of the same family have been killed due to gas filling up a well.

According to details, six members of the same family, including three siblings, were killed when a well filled up with gas while it was being cleaned. The accident took place in Dhok Maliar village of Fateh Jang Tehsil of Attock District. Upon receiving news of the incident, Rescue 1122 personnel rushed to the spot.

The rescuers put their lives on the line and in a short 30-minute operation managed to pull one person out alive while the dead bodies were also recovered.

The accident claimed lives of three siblings, their uncle and two cousins. The deceased were identified as Mohammad Israr, Mohammad Zubair, Mohammad Rehmat, Mohammad Sadiq, Mohammad Amir and lastly Mohammad Faizan.
