A local leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) was injured Sunday while his gunman killed in an armed attack in the Kanga police precincts in Larkana, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, the attack on PPP District Council member Amir Zeb Jatoi was carried out by a group of another Jatoi tribe over an old dispute.

His gunman Mujahid Bhargari was killed in the attack.

The injured PPP leader and the body of the deceased were moved to Chandka Hospital.

Further investigations into the incident were underway.
