Strong winds coupled with heavy rains forced a training aircraft down and then turned it turtle at the Islamabad International Airport on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The aircraft belonged to the Aviation and Flight Training School.

Sources said the plane’s overturning has damaged its wings. 

The sources said that teams have been dispatched for to do the repair work on the aircraft.
