Finance Minister Miftah Ismail has said that soon his government would control the sky-rocketing inflation heralding that the nation will get a good news in near future, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Mr Ismail was talking to media after saying Eidul Fitr prayers in Karsaz area of Karachi on Tuesday. He said that his meeting with the UAE delegation in London remained fruitful. He gave tidings of good news saying that the new government was working hard to bring the inflation down in a short period of time.

Taking a dig at the previous regime, Mr Ismail deplored that they (PTI leaders) had been indulged in vile politics but the PML-N was working assiduously for the welfare of people. 

On return of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, he said that the former prime minister would soon be back in his home country. 

He condemned the Medina incident blaming Imran Khan for the desecration of the holy place. 

Answering a question regarding cases against Farah Gogi, the finance minister said that though Farah was not in the power but still she managed to amass so much wealth. He said the authorities wanted to know how come she was calling the shots regarding postings and appointments in Punjab. 

“After Farah Gogi, scandals of other PTI leaders will also come to the fore,” he added.
