Rs2.5 million rare birds stolen from Lahore

In a bizarre heist, a thief broke into a farmhouse located in the Manawan area of Lahore and took away 60 pairs of rare lovebirds brought from Holland worth Rs2.5 million, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The thief was specific in his target as he sneaked into Mian Moinuddin's farmhouse in the Lakhodair area of ​​Manawan and tore down the wall of the farmhouse, and entered into a room allocated for lovebirds. 

He took away 60 pairs of rare lovebirds from the cages placed in the special room and fled away.

The owner of farmhouse urged the police authorities to arrest the culprit and recover his birds.

Manawan police registered an FIR but did not able to find the robber so far.
