Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan on Saturday claimed it was 2013 general elections that were the most rigged in Pakistan’s history and not the 2018 general elections, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking to newsmen in Lahore, Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan said, “Wherever RTS was down on the election day PTI candidates lost their seats. The worst rigging in history took place in the 2013 elections.”

The Provincial Information Minister said if the atomic bomb was made with Ittefaq Foundry money he would have saluted them. He said PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif told other party leaders that he was going to jail and do what they wanted to do. “PML-N convicted leader Nawaz Sharif is just venting his frustration,” Chohan said.

He once again said Senate elections in March will be won by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf with the majority and after that, the world will see about the exemplary legislation to be carried out in the National Assembly and the Senate under the supervision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

He said the legislation will be done only for the betterment of the country.

The Punjab government spokesman said PML-N is facing the reaction to Nawaz Sharif’s speech and they would be facing this in future too. “Rejected people are claiming that rigging occurred in general elections,” he said.

The TV channel reported that the Punjab Information Minister said Noon League is outside the country, Sheen League is inside the jail while Meem League is ‘dancing’.
