Police registered a case against two sons of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nehal Hashmi, arrested them and put them into the lockup after they allegedly manhandled policemen inside a police station in Karachi on Friday.

According to the police, Nehal Hashmi’s sons Naseer and Ibrahim had an argument with someone at a traffic signal. Police reached the scene and brought both parties to the police station. However, Hashmi’s sons manhandled some policemen at Saudabad Police Station. According to the police, Hashmi’s sons tore apart uniforms of policemen and hurled threats at them.

Nehal Hashmi also reached the police station soon after the incident and threatened the police. Some other representatives of the PML-N also reached there and threatened the police with consequences. PML-N Leader Asad Usmani said he would scale down the wall of the police station and come in if the police would not open the gate. He said he would break down the wall of the police station and end the police highhandedness.
