The Sindh Transport Minster while talking to the media later stated that transport sector has been affected badly by the coronavirus lockdown and as the Sindh government plans to ease the lockdown measures, transporters' representatives have always been supportive.

The minister further added that transporters have assured that they will work under the decided SOPs when the Sindh government ends the lockdown.

The minister concluded that complaints have been received from various places that the transport has reopened but as per rules transporters will be allowed to work only after the lockdown has been eased.

Meanwhile, the Sindh government reported will decide Thursday on whether to extend the lockdown.

The Sindh government is looking into options to ease lockdown restrictions and the final decision will be taken by Sindh Chief Minister.
