The National Assembly Secretariat has received a letter from the Law Secretary on the oath-taking of Punjab CM, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Friday.
Hamza Shehbaz is going to take oath as Punjab chief minister at Governor’s House in Lahore.
The district administration made arrangements and 700 guests including lawmakers are invited.
National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf will administer the oath to CM-elect Hamza Shehbaz Sharif, according to the Lahore High Court verdict.
“We have always respected the decisions of the judiciary,” the ex-PM said.
Justice Jawad Hassan issued the nine-page written order. The PML-N leader approached the court against PTI’s acts against the law and the constitution.
At the outset of the hearing, the court asked about the order passed by the LHC CJ. Subsequently, Hamza's counsel, Khalid Ishaq, read the order out loud and told the court that the president and the Punjab governor were blatantly violating the Constitution.
Justice Hassan remarked that no one should have the audacity to flout the court's directives.
