Ducky Bhai gets protective bail in reckless driving case
The Lahore High Court (LHC) has granted protective bail to popular Pakistani YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, commonly known as Ducky Bhai, in a case following his reckless driving on a national highway.
The decision was announced during his appearance in court along with his attorney.
On Tuesday, Justice Shahbaz Rizvi approved his bail request, and the court further directed Ducky Bhai to appear before the trial court by May 5.
In case the readers are not aware, the TikTok star was arrested for overspeeding and doing stunts while driving on a motorway, which prompted legal action from the authorities.
The video abruptly went viral all over social media, causing heavy criticism on social media.
Reacting to it, the motorway police registered a case against the traffic laws.
Speaking to reporters outside the court, Rehman acknowledged the video but denied some of the more serious claims. “I’m not here to give justifications, but the accusation that I was driving with my feet is misleading — my feet were on the dashboard, not the steering wheel,” he said.
About the claims that he was asleep while driving, he alleged, “It might look like that in the video because my left eye is closed, but my right eye is open — I have proof. The entire video shows me giving instructions as well.”
