Minister says two heart patients sent back by India to be treated in Pakistan 

Taking notice of the case of the two girls, who had gone to India for the treatment of heart disease, but had to return after the Indian government sent them back due to the ongoing hostilities between the two countries in the wake of Pahalgam terror attack, Federal Minister for Health Mustafa Kamal said on Wednesday that he would arrange their treatment at government expenses, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The minister, currently on a visit to China, directed the DG Health to contact the family of the girls. 

Kamal said he had contacted the PM House for the treatment of the girls, while the Ministry of Health officials, on the other hand, had started contacting different hospitals for the purpose. 

He said the girls might be referred to the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology.   

Shahid Ali, the father of the two kids, after returning from India had implored the government to arrange their treatment in some other country.

He said that doctors in India had told him that already lot of time had been wasted.  

He had said his daughters had nothing to do with the present tension prevailing between India and Pakistan.
